This piece is a move away from my usual portraiture work.
 
Through my explorations of architecture, I noticed that the nail and thread technique perfectly depicted the meticulous and angular structures of historical architecture. This piece depicts a church tower based in the Jewellery Quarter in the heart of Birmingham city.
